Steven was pastoring at a Chinese congregation in the Los Angeles area for many years. His passion is to reach out to the lost and to disciple them to be the very vessel for God's kingdom.

After finishing his Master's degree in Communication, Steven was once a reporter for four years. God called him to be a full time pastor since 2004. He then got his Doctor of Ministry degree in 2006. Steven was ordained to be a pastor with the Assemblies of God of the Southern California District in 2008.

One of Steven's ministry "hobbies" is to be the interpreter. He was invited to interpret for sermons, ceremonies, and book translations between in English and in Chinese. Steven was honored to be co- invited for interpreting the Purpose Driven Life by Rev. Rick Warren.

Steven and Kelly were married in the year of 2000. They have two sons, David (8), and Jeremiah (5). He and his family just moved back to B.C. in September of 2011. The boys' favorite hobby is to ride on Skytrain.

Steven's favorite subject in theology is Church History. He loves playing table tennis as much as enjoying the L.A. Lakers’ games.
